🎃 Mrs. Marcelle's Monster March🎃

Join us as we spread Halloween cheer through a local retirement community! Dancers will parade in costume, perform a few festive dances, and brighten the day for residents. See the details below for meeting time, location, and sign-up information. Dancers ages 4–6 are invited to participate.

📍 Location: Mill View Memory Care 1290 SW Silver Lake Blvd, Bend, OR 97702

Participation Details

  • Meet in the parking lot at 10:00 AM. Please carpool if possible, as parking is limited. You may need to park on a nearby street and walk to the entrance. We would like to take a group photo before we head up so please plan to take a group photo at 10:15. As dancers arrive we will pass out ribbons

  • At approximately 10:20 AM, we'll make our way into the facility together. Dancers will parade through the hall in their Halloween costumes, carrying festive ribbons and greeting residents along the way. After the parade, we'll perform 1–2 fun Halloween dances for the residents before heading home.

  • This is a wonderful opportunity for our young dancers to:

    • Wear their Halloween costumes!

    • Share joy with members of our Bend community.

    • Practice performing in a fun and meaningful setting.

    • Please sign up using the Google Sheet below so we know how many dancers will be attending.

Attire:

  • All dancers will wear their Halloween costume or any dress up costume. NO DANCE SHOES please wear normal street shoes.

  • We will be meeting outside, so please make sure your dancer stays warm until we head inside together. Parents may take jackets as we enter the building. There are stairs and an elevator to access the second floor for the parade and dance.

  • Parents are welcome to join us and are encouraged to dress up as well!

  • Ribbons will be handed out on the day of the event.
