Class Descriptions

We aim to provide a relaxed, fun-filled atmosphere while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment. Classes are primarily organized by grade level, but instructors may adjust placements based on individual skill to ensure the best experience for each dancer. Our goal is for students to have fun, dance with friends, and feel confident while also keeping class skill levels balanced so everyone can learn and grow together. *Mini & Me

(Age 1.5 & 2)

A joyful and engaging movement class for little ones and their caregivers. Mini & Me is a special time for toddlers and their grown-ups to bond through music, dance, and playful exploration. This class is all about connection, rhythm, and joyful movement in welcoming environment.

Please have your little one wear grippy socks for safety and comfort. (Socks from trampoline parks work great.)

This is a non-performing class and will be offered in 8-week sessions.

Pre Ballet

(Age 3-4 )

Does your child enjoy dancing? Our session will provide your dancer with a fundamental understanding of ballet postures and steps while strengthening their motor skills and coordination through enjoyable activities like singing, rhythm exercises, movement-based storytelling, and free dancing with various props.

Tap/Ballet Combo

(Age 4-6)

This beginning level class is designed to develop awareness of alignment and basic ballet and tap vocabulary, technique and poise. Class will include basic barre exercises, as well as center work. It will teach musicality and rhythm skills through tap combinations. This is a fun and energetic class that will have their feet moving, and include singing to our favorite songs. No previous experience needed.

Tap/Ballet Combo

(Kinder & 1st Grade)

This fun and lively combo class introduces young dancers to the basics of tap and ballet in a playful, supportive environment. Children will explore rhythm and sounds through simple tap steps, while developing balance, posture, and graceful movements in ballet. With lots of music and movement, this class encourages creativity, coordination, and confidence. Perfect for beginners just starting their dance journey.

Hip-Hop /Tap/Ballet Combo

(1st & 2nd Grade)

Designed to provide dancers with a basis in ballet, tap, and hip-hop. Dancers will learn the basic elements of music and dance, both individually and in groups. Includes lessons in musical rhythm, beat, timing, opposites, and directions.

POM CLASS

Pom is a dynamic dance style characterized by precise and vigorous arm movements, captivating visuals, and a fusion of dance team and Jazz techniques. At our studio, dancers will have the opportunity to acquire a solid foundation in Pom positions and develop exceptional performance skills, all while harnessing an abundance of high energy.

*Tumblenastics

Our tumblnastics class is a gentle introduction to basic gymnastics skills, focusing on body awareness, strength, and confidence, through movement. These classes introduce forward roles balance work, motor skills, all within a structured fun environment. This class does not involve performance aspects.

Tap/Ballet Combo

(2nd & 3rd Grade)

This combo class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of both tap and ballet in a fun, supportive environment. Dancers will explore rhythm and timing through lively tap combinations while building grace, posture, and flexibility in ballet. With a focus on musicality, creativity, and coordination, this class is perfect for dancers who are continuing their training or just getting started.

Hip-Hop

(2nd & 3rd Grade)

This high-energy class introduces dancers to the exciting world of hip-hop through fun, age appropriate movement and music. Dancers will explore rhythm, musicality, and basic hip-hop foundations while learning to express their individuality through freestyle and choreography. A playful and supportive atmosphere encourages creativity, teamwork, and confidence with every beat.

Tap/Ballet Combo

(4th & 5th Grade)

Designed for growing dancers, this combo class strengthens both tap and ballet technique with more detailed instruction and age-appropriate challenges. Dancers will sharpen their rhythm and footwork in tap while continuing to refine ballet skills like alignment, balance, and control. This class encourages confidence, musicality, and artistic expression. Offering a well-rounded and engaging experience for both new and experienced students.

Hip-Hop

(4th & 5th Grade)

This upbeat and empowering hip-hop class builds on foundational movement while encouraging dancers to develop their own unique style. Using age-appropriate music and challenging choreography, dancers will explore musicality, rhythm, and freestyle in a fun, inclusive environment. Dancers will also work together, building community and confidence as they grow in skill and self-expression.

Hip-Hop/Lyrical Combo

(6th - 8th Grade)

This multi-discipline class combines the expressive movement of lyrical dance with the high-energy style of hip-hop. Each class includes approximately 30 minutes of each style and focuses on building strength, flexibility and body awareness. Dancers will also develop confidence and musicality while learning choreography in both genres. Prior experience is helpful but not required, all are welcome. Music and movement are always age-appropriate, clean, and uplifting.

*Technique

Our Ballet Technique class offers a comprehensive training experience that encompasses a rigorous barre workout, as well as focused instruction in turning, jumping, and leaping through challenging across-the-floor exercises and center-floor combinations. This class places a strong emphasis on developing strength, stamina, and achieving correct body placement, which are fundamental elements of ballet technique. It is important to note that this class is primarily dedicated to technical development and does not involve performance aspects.

Pointe

( 6th Grade +)

Our Pointe class is a specialized offering available by invitation only. Dancers must be in at least 6th grade and have a minimum of three years of dedicated ballet training. Placement is based on the instructor’s assessment of each student’s technical readiness and physical preparedness for pointe work. This class includes a comprehensive mix of barre exercises, center work, across-the-floor combinations, and turns and leaps. All designed to strengthen technique and build confidence en pointe. Enrollment in a ballet technique class is required to participate.
