🎅 Bend Christmas Parade 🎅

The tradition continues! Mrs. Marcelle's School of Dance is once again dancing in the Bend Christmas Parade! Participating in the parade is a unique chance for your dancer to showcase their talent, spread holiday cheer, and create unforgettable memories! Participation is voluntary. This opportunity is available to our older dancers—2nd grade and up!

📅 Parade Date: December 6th

🕠 Parade Time: 12:00 PM

📍 Location: Downtown Bend

The 2.5-mile parade route starts on the intersection of NW Newport Blvd. and NW Harmon Blvd. It runs East on Newport, turns south on Wall Street, and then meanders along Riverside Blvd. before it crosses the Galveston St. bridge and ends at Harmon. Many thousands of happy people will line the route

Participation Details

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals will be integrated into our regular class schedule. Additionally, we will have a final group practice the night before the parade.

Parade Final Practice

Date: Friday, December 5th
Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Highland Elementary School, we’ll be using the school’s outdoor blacktop area.

Please dress warmly, as the practice will be outdoors.

Parade Attire:

Maroon MMSD sweatshirts, please ensure your child has gloves and dresses in layers. Santa hats will be provided. Attire should include black leggings/pants or sweatpants.

Please note: Jackets cannot be worn over the sweatshirts, so it’s important to layer warmly underneath. We will not have a designated area to store water bottles or extra clothing, so plan accordingly.

Let your dancer know in advance where you’ll be sitting so they can wave as we pass by!
